Martin and Joey

Martin and Joey travel around Europe with their Mercedes truck that was turned over to RV. I met them near the Rilamonastery.

We were driving around, looking for a spot to stretch our feet, as I saw a blue Mercedes Truck with Munich plates. I started wondering what is this truck doing here in the middle of nowhere. So, I went to investigate with the hope that I can dust of my German. And then I met those two. Martin and Joey the dog.

Martin is an engineer who built his own RV out of an old Mercedes delivery truck using the loading ramp as patio. Together with Joey they travel around Europe for 2-3 months every year. This was his 5th week in Bulgaria. I asked him and Joey for a photo and left. I did not wanted to be intrusive, so I spent not more than five minutes engaging in small talk with Martin.

I love this way of travel and maybe someday I will do something similar with My Dog, but my main objective will be shooting the people who live in the places I visit.
